3"x 5" bag(s) of live Green Grape Caulerpa
Scientific Name: Caulerpa Racemosa
Common Names: Green Grape Caulerpa
Care Level: Easy to Moderate
Aquarium Benefits: Excellent way to lower nitrates and phosphates in the aquarium. By placing in the tank, sump or refugium, the macroalgae absorbs phosphates and nitrates from the water. By removing portions of the Green Grape Algae from the tank, it is effectively lowering the excess nutrients in the saltwater the caulerpa racemosa absorbed while growing. Caulerpa racemosa is unique in that it has perfectly round individual clusters, resembling grapes on a vine.
Reef Safe: Yes
Lighting Requirements: Caulerpa will survive in low - moderate lighting, however, moderate - high lighting will provide faster growth
Waterflow: While Caulerpa racemosa is easy to grow in most conditions, it will be much more efficient at nutrient export if provided ideal conditions. Ideally it should be grown in the sump or refugium where it will have low water currents and can be provided plenty of light.
