Algae No-Mo is a highly concentrated formula designed to quickly clear and control common algae problems in established freshwater ponds that contain live fish and plants.

Our 32 oz bottle provides the same total treatment capacity as a full 2.5-gallon jug of AlgaeFix (up to 96,000 gallons), giving you the active algae-fighting power you need in a much smaller, easier-to-store bottle and at a better value.

It effectively targets:

•  Green water algae (Chlorella)

•  String or hair algae (Cladophora)

•  Blanketweed (Oedogonium)

When used as directed, it helps resolve existing algae blooms and reduces the formation of new algae, helping keep your pond clearer with less ongoing maintenance. It will not harm fish or aquatic plants when dosed properly. 

How to Dose Properly

Accurate dosing is essential. Always calculate your pond’s volume before treating.

Standard Dose

Add ¼ teaspoon of Algae No-Mo per 200 gallons of pond water.

Application Steps

1.  Measure the correct amount for your pond size.

2.  Thoroughly mix the measured dose into a small bowl or container of pond water.

3.  Pour the diluted mixture near the pump outflow, waterfall, or aeration device so it disperses evenly throughout the pond.

4.  Repeat the full dose every 3 days until the algae has died and is under control.

5.  Once the algae is controlled, switch to a maintenance dose of one full dose per week. Weekly maintenance dosing helps prevent regrowth and reduces overall pond upkeep.

Important Safety & Usage Notes

•  Provide strong, continuous aeration (fountain, waterfall, or air pump) while using this product. Keep pumps running 24 hours a day, especially during warmer months.

•  For use in established ponds only.

•  Do not use in new ponds or in ponds that contain freshwater crustaceans.

•  Keep out of reach of children.

•  Causes eye irritation. Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through the skin. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing.

•  This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer.

Always follow the label directions carefully and never overdose. Proper aeration and correct dosing are the keys to safe, effective results.

HOW TO CALCULATE POND VOLUME:

FORMULA: Gallons = Length (ft) × Width (ft) × Average Depth (ft) × 7.48

STEP #1: Measure the length and width

•  For a rectangular or roughly rectangular pond, measure the longest length and the widest width in feet.

•  For an irregular or free-form pond, take several length and width measurements and average them, or divide the pond into smaller rectangular sections, calculate each one, and add them together.

STEP #2: Find the average depth

•  Take depth readings at several points across the pond (shallow edges, middle, deeper areas).

•  Add all the depth measurements together and divide by the number of readings.

•  Example: depths of 1.5 ft, 2 ft, 2.5 ft, 3 ft → average = 2.25 ft.

STEP #3: Plug the numbers into the formula

Example:
Length = 20 ft
Width = 12 ft
Average depth = 2.5 ft
20 × 12 × 2.5 × 7.48 = 4,488 gallons
