Pond and lake aeration
Still water splits into layers. The bottom goes low on oxygen. Sludge sits. Fish crowd the surface in heat, and a fall turnover can knock them out. A shore compressor and bottom diffusers break that up by lifting water from the bottom.
Aeration is support gear. It helps bacteria products, filters, and fish. It does not clear green water by itself and it does not replace UV.

How to choose
- Surface acres: length × width ÷ 43,560.
- Deepest point. Deeper water needs more pressure.
- Shape. A long, skinny pond needs more diffuser points than a round one.
- Distance from shore power to the water. Extra tubing is fine; burying the compressor is not.
If you are between sizes, go up one step or add a second diffuser.
