Laguna Pressure-Flo 3000 Service Kit

Spring service kit for the Laguna Pressure-Flo 3000 only. Four foams, a 24-watt UV-C lamp, O-rings, cleaning brushes, and silicone lubricant. Check the filter model before you order. This kit does not fit the 1000, 2000, or 4000.

In the box

The foams and lamp are cut for this canister. A foam from another size will not work, and the wrong lamp will not fit the quartz sleeve.

When to use it:

Most owners buy this in spring, or when flow drops and a rinse no longer brings it back. Foams can be rinsed through the season. Replace them when they stay dirty, tear, or no longer spring back. Replace the lamp if it will not light. Do not run the UV dry, and do not look at an operating lamp.

Unplug the filter and the UV before you open it. Water and power do not mix on this job. A light coat of the included lubricant on the O-rings helps the lid seal. Do not use petroleum jelly.

Not included:

Quartz sleeve, lid, canister, pump, or hose. If the sleeve is cracked or cloudy, this kit will not fix that.

FAQ

Will this fit my Pressure-Flo 2000 or 4000?
No. Those are PT1696 and PT1698.

Is the UV a clarifier or a sterilizer?
It is the replacement lamp for the clarifier built into this filter. Follow the Laguna instructions. It is not an algaecide and it does not treat the whole pond by itself.

How often?
Foams when they are worn out. Lamp when it fails to light, commonly once a season if the filter runs daily.
