SuperNatural NewPond Debris Remover
A dry bacteria and enzyme blend for organic debris and staining on rocks, liner, waterfalls, and stream beds. SuperNatural also uses it as a clarifier. It is not a flocculant and it is not an algaecide.
Usage:
1 oz per 1,500 gallons, once a week. Use more often only if the label on your pail says to. A 20,000-gallon pond is about 13 oz a week.
| Pond | Weekly dose | 10 lb lasts about | 25 lb lasts about |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1,500 gal | 1 oz | 16 weeks | 40 weeks |
| 7,500 gal | 5 oz | 3 weeks | 8 weeks |
| 15,000 gal | 10 oz | 16 weeks | 40 weeks |
| 20,000 gal | 13 oz | 12 weeks | 30 weeks |
How to apply:
Turn the pump on so the water is moving. Scatter the dose across the surface. Do not dump it in one pile. Cloudiness for a few hours is normal on the label. It is not a reason to add a second dose the same day.
Label says it can be used across pH and temperature ranges. Cold water still slows bacteria. Do not expect a stained waterfall to look new after one scoop.
Safe use:
Safe for fish and plants when used as directed. Keep the pail closed and out of reach of children. Do not mix it with an algaecide in the same application.
FAQ
Will this remove muck from the bottom?
It is aimed at surface debris and stains. Thick bottom muck needs a muck product or a vacuum.
10 lb or 25 lb?
Under about 15,000 gallons, start with 10 lb. 25 lb is for a large pond or if you service more than one.
