EasyPro TH Stainless Steel Pump
This is the standing version of the TH family, used for waterfalls, streams, fountains, and pond circulation. Stainless steel motor housing. Fiber-reinforced casing. Nylon vortex impeller. Built-in thermal overload. Continuous duty when it stays covered with water.
It is a submersible pump. Sit it upright on a flat base. Do not hang it by the cord. Do not run it dry or half out of the water. A clogged skimmer net that starves the intake will overheat the motor.
Not the HTH pump:
HTH is the horizontal body for short vaults. Different length, different GPH. If the skimmer is too short for this pump to stand up, use the HTH page.
Pick voltage first:
115 V for a normal outlet. 230 V only if the pad is wired for it. A 230 V pump will not run on 115 V.
Then pick GPH by head:
Measure vertical lift from the pump to the top of the falls, plus pipe friction. At 15 ft the 3,100 GPH pump is already near 1,380 GPH. Step up if the falls needs more water than that.
Install:
- Fully underwater, upright, on a solid base.
- 2" female thread on the discharge.
- Dedicated outlet. GFCI.
- Optional EasyPro bottom screen THPS on mid-2009 and newer pumps if debris is heavy.
