ClearLake Muck Eliminator — Water-Soluble Packets

These bags are the whole-pond muck treatment. Throw them out in a grid. They dissolve and the bacteria work on organic sludge (leaves, fish waste, dead algae) across the bottom instead of in one pile.

This is different from ClearLake Muck Eliminator Tablets. Tablets sink on purpose so you can treat a dock, swim beach, or shoreline. Bags are for even coverage when the whole pond is silty.

You can run bags and tablets in the same pond. Do not dump a full initial dose of everything on the same afternoon.

This product is not a dredge, not an algaecide, and not a dye. Results vary with temperature, oxygen, fish load, and how thick the muck already is. Aeration helps.

Sizes and coverage (when dosed as directed):

• Initial: 6 lb per surface acre
• Maintenance: 2 to 3 lb per surface acre every 2 weeks
• 1 bag = 8 oz

4 lb — trial or small pond
8 lb — ½-acre start
24 lb — best cost per pound for about 1 acre through the warm months

How to use:

1. Use when water is above about 50°F.
2. Figure surface acres. Do not guess.
3. First treatment: 6 lb per acre.
4. Toss bags in a grid. Do not stack them in one corner.
5. Repeat 2–3 lb per acre every 2 weeks.
6. Keep aeration running if you have it.

Fish and plants:

Intended for ponds and lakes with fish and plants when used as directed. Follow the label.

What this is not:

• Not the sinking muck eliminator tablets
• Not a clarifier for green water
• Not a guarantee of “3 feet of muck gone this year”
• Not a substitute for raking a leaf dump
